ADAPS offers good facilities for amateur photographers.
Unlike many camera clubs we own our clubroom and can make it available at any
time for events or for members to practise their photography - just ask a committee
member for details.
Facilities include a large meeting room and studio area with various backgrounds.
We have access to tungsten lights and studio flash, which are used for studio
shoots and portrait sessions. The club also has a kitchen, toilets and a darkroom.
Through an 'Awards for All' lottery grant we have been able to purchase our
own digital projector and laptop, with Photoshop, to enable us to hold more
digital photography events.
Obviously, no valuable equipment is left in the clubroom overnight or when not
being used!
We have taken measures to make the clubroom accessible to visitors with a disability
by purchasing a wheelchair ramp and other equipment. We will be pleased to provide
any further information you might require before you visit.
All meetings are held in a smoking-free environment.
If you have any questions at all please send us an email to
